What We Collect
When you submit our appraisal request or contact form, we collect the information you provide:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- The property address, appraisal type, and any details you share about the assignment
- How you heard about us, if you tell us
We also record basic technical information with each submission — a one-way scrambled form of your IP address and your browser type — to block spam and abuse. We do not store your raw IP address.
To understand how our website is used, we count page visits on our own servers: the page you viewed, the site or link that brought you here, your device type (phone, tablet, or computer), how long the page was open, and taps on our phone number or email address. We do not use cookies or third-party analytics for this, and we do not store your IP address: visits are grouped by a scrambled code that changes every day, so we cannot recognize you from one day to the next. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not count your visit. Visit records are deleted after 13 months.
How We Use It
- To respond to your request, prepare a quote, and schedule and complete your appraisal
- To keep business and appraisal work-file records as required by law and professional standards
- To protect this website from spam and misuse
We will not text you about a web inquiry unless you have given us express consent to do so.
Who We Share It With
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business (for example, email delivery and secure hosting), and when required by law, regulation, or professional standards.
How Long We Keep It
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and to meet our business and legal record-keeping obligations. Submissions identified as spam are deleted.
Your Choices
To ask what information we have about you, or to request that we correct or delete it, contact us at admin@miexecutiveappraisals.com or 616-236-3903. Some records must be kept to comply with law and appraisal standards.
